Allows you to connect your mp3 player to your receiver and have a great sound quality from your speakers. Excellent product.
It works perfectly, sound quality is fine and the cable is really well constructed. I tried this cable to see if I could avoid buying a $99 docking station for my iPhone as all I want to do is connect it to my home audio system.
Just clean, strong sound.Having bought a bunch of monster cables over the years, I think the high quality of their products is clearly worth the stiff price. Does just what I needed - replaces the original cabling for my laptop Bose speakers. But the speakers are excellent - it was just the crappy cable they came with. And it was a lot cheaper than the other option I was considering which was to replace the speakers themselves. They plug directly into my audio jack (same jack where my earbuds go). And now, no more buzzing, no more humming.

I only wish i would have bought a longer cable so I could use my laptob further away from the reciever. I used this cable to connect my laptop to my surround sound and it has worked like a charm.
